After working for an apparel company, Izuru became a freelance illustrator. Focusing on the work of drawing books and picture books, she is engaged in a wide range of activities such as corporate advertisements and the design provision for fashion brands. The main illustrations for book covers include "Anne of Green Gables" series (Kodansha) and "Bridget Jones's Diary" (Kadokawa Shoten). Received the 38th Kodansha Publishing Culture Award Sashie Award. An active member of Tokyo Illustration Society.
