Hello, I am Josephine Rais, a Strategic Designer and Illustrator from Germany. My work focuses on people and their actions, with a penchant for human observation, telling visual stories through everday scenes peoled with vibrant characters. It is characterised by fluid shapes, block tones and shades of pastel, and I visual surrealism. My subjects feel candid and representative, zeroing in on forms of womanhood and identity with a light-hearted nature. My work includes illustration, branding and graphic design, with special skills in conception and storytelling. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design two years ago, and graduated with a masters degree in Strategic Design in summer 2018 from the University of Applied Sciences in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
